I am going to use three influential media texts to conduct feedback interviews with my audience to gather their psychographic preferences, opinions and values. I will use a synopsis of a film - just a brief summary.
The synopsis of my trailer (speaking as if I made the whole film) is:
A couple are haunted by a supernatural presence when they stumble upon a artifact owned by a friend. Unknown to them, a malicious spirit lies dormant within the artifact. In one particular night, they conduct a seance to communicate with the spirit for fun recording their progress. The wife eventually becomes possessed by the artifact in which the husband attempts to save her.
I will also ask them how they rate the following about film trailers: cinematography, mise-en-scene, editing and sound.
My documented questions (paraphrased) are as followed:
What would you rate the trailers seen out of 10?
What aspects did you enjoy in the trailer in terms of: cinematography, mise-en-scene, editing and sound?
